Drip Tubing
Roots can clog drip emitters in systems buried below mulch or below the soil surface, and this tendency historically limited the service life of the system. Now, through a unique marriage of polymer and root-growth inhibitor, Geoflow, working with researchers at Battelle's Pacific Northwest Laboratories created long-term, controlled-release devices that establish a root barrier zone.
Disc Filters
Geoflow’s disc filters are built to stay cleaner longer. A
particularly large surface area coupled with Geoshield®, an
antimicrobial that inhibits the growth of bacteria on the
discs, these filters are robust and designed to perform
with biologically active water. A single filter is often used
in single family home applications.
Drip Tube Fittings
The lockslip fittings allow for quick and easy installation and repair since they are built to be removed and reapplied with a simple locking nut.
Air Vents/ Vacuum Relief
- Air Vents allows air to escape from the pipe line. With failure to provide air relief, the buildup of air pockets in a pipeline can cause such a restriction of the flow-path that flow is severely impacted and even stopped.
- Vacuum Relief allows air to enter the pipeline during valve closure or system shutdown. This minimizes the collapse of mainline and submain pipes due to vacuum, it reduces soil from siphoning back up into the drip emitters, and water hammer caused by a sudden reversal of flows which can occur if a negative pressure (vacuum) exists downstream of a valve that was just closed.
